Radu Serban zdrobeste oastea lui Gabriel Bathory
La 27 iunie 1611 are loc batalia de langa Brasov, in care domnitorul Tarii Romanesti, Radu Serban, zdrobeste oastea lui Gabriel Bathory, care se refugiaza la Sibiu. Radu Serban a fost domnul Tarii Romanesti intre anii 1601 - 1611 cu trei intreruperi scurte de domnie in aceasta perioada. Fiind un presupus descendent al lui Neagoe Basarab, a ajuns mare dregator in timpul domniei lui Mihai Viteazul.
